We are pleased to announce some exciting news regarding Basketball in your community. BSLPAA has joined forces with both Blaine and Spring Lake Park youth basketball programs to improve and simplify the basketball offering in our community. Instead of running these programs like we have for years we have made the decision to hand it over to the various organizations that run Basketball year round. We have had many collaborative meetings to discuss this change and feel that the upcoming season is the time to move forward.

Starting this fall both Blaine and SLP will be offering an "in house" type program as well as the traditional traveling programs for both girls and boys. If you attend Blaine schools you would sign up with Blaine basketball and if you attend SLP schools you would sign up with SLP’s Basketball program. If you attend a non public school you would sign up for the school you "would" be attending.

The two gentlemen who have been running our in house programs have joined the Blaine and SLP boards to oversee this transition and ensure that every child has a place to play basketball.

Information for both the Blaine and Spring Lake Park High School Summer Boys Youth Basketball Camps are now available.  You can find detailed information on both the camps under Registration / Forms at the top of this page.

Blaine High School Boys Basketball will be providing Summer Basketball Skills Development Program.  There is one for K-3 Grade and one for 4th - 8th Grade (2011-2012 School Year).  Please see more information under Registration / Forms

To request a team page, you need to request a login.  Here's how:

• Go to www.bslpaa.org
• Click on Boys Basketball.
• On the right hand side, there is a link for "Managers".
• Click the link to get into the page and proceeds with the instructions.
• You’ll pick your own logon name and password.  They will e-mail you back with the OK to proceed.
• Once you get the login, you can get into the web page and add your info. 

It’s a bit intimidating looking at first, but if you click around enough you’ll get it.  There is a document online with tips and tricks that is somewhat helpful, too.  Your team page is a cool tool for communicating with your parents.  You can list the players, announcements, your calendar, your record, etc.  Good luck.
